The Story of Earth and Life

he Earth might seem solid beneath our feet but five billion years ago there was no sign of the planet we call home. Instead there was only a new star and a cloud of dust in our solar system. Over millions of years, a series of violent changes led to the formation of our world and, eventually, the creation of life. In this photorealistic CGI epic, see how a boiling ball of rock transformed into the blue planet we know today. Explore every aspect of our world; learn how water first arrived on Earth, discover the vital role oxygen played as life forms began to evolve, and find out how land mammals evolved into dinosaurs and other giant beasts, before becoming extinct 65 million years ago. Cutting-edge imagery also reveals how humans first began to walk on two feet and looks into the future to see what may be in store for our home over the next five billion years. The Sikh Story

Documentary examining why followers of the Sikh religion were marked out as a 'martial race' under the British Empire, and how thousands of Sikh soldiers valiantly laid down their lives for Britain's freedom across two world wars.

With contributions from eminent historians, military experts and war veterans, the film features the last-ever interview with legendary WW2 Squadron Leader Mahinder Singh Pujji, and the first television broadcast of a rare audio recording of a WW1 Sikh prisoner of war, handed to Britain in 2010 after 94 years in German hands.

Mistery of the Anasazi

In the American Southwest, there is no more puzzling mystery than the magnificent stone cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde. Why did the Anasazi Indians suddenly move their villages to these perilous cliffs in the 13th century?

Was it drought? Invading tribes? Or an insidious "cancer" from within that may have caused them to turn to fierce warfare and even cannibalism? In search of answers, our host, the intrepid explorer and survival expert Josh Bernstein, travels from Mesa Verde, Colorado to remote canyons in Utah where the Anasazi took refuge.

Piecing together the story from both archaeologists and Native Americans, he finally ends up, in his search for the truth, in the eerie and desolate ruins of the Anasazi's greatest cultural center--Chaco Canyon.

The known Universe

The Known Universe takes viewers from the Himalayas through our atmosphere and the inky black of space to the afterglow of the Big Bang. Every star, planet, and quasar seen in the film is possible because of the world's most complete four-dimensional map of the universe, the Digital Universe Atlas that is maintained and updated by astrophysicists at the American Museum of Natural History. The new film, created by the Museum, is part of an exhibition, Visions of the Cosmos: From the Milky Ocean to an Evolving Universe, at the Rubin Museum of Art in Manhattan through May 2010.

Demographic Winter

One of the most ominous events of modern history is quietly unfolding.  Social scientists and economists agree - we are headed toward a demographic winter which threatens to have catastrophic social and economic consequences.  The effects will be severe and long lasting and are already becoming manifest in much of Europe.

A groundbreaking film, Demographic Winter: Decline of the Human Family, reveals in chilling soberness how societies with diminished family influence are now grimly seen as being in social and economic jeopardy.

Demographic Winter draws upon experts from all around the world - demographers, economists, sociologists, psychologists, civic and religious leaders, parliamentarians and diplomats.  Together, they reveal the dangers facing society and the world's economies, dangers far more imminent than global warming and at least as severe.

Osiris Myth

For thousands of years Giza's Great Pyramids have stood, keepers of ancient secrets, harbouring a message that mankind has long forgotten.. The unravelling of this message has been the life's work of author Robert Bauval. He unveils the great myth of Osiris and his faithful consort Isis, gods of Afterlife and Eternity, as the key to the "mystery of the Pyramids" which reverberates in many strands of esoterism today..

Graham Hancock Debunks Mainstream Science

Graham Hancock and Robert Bauval, authors of the best selling book The Sphinx Mystery, present startling evidence from our ancient past. One of the most intriguing pieces of evidence pointing to a forgotten period of time in human history is a series of ancient maps which show extremely accurate details of the Earth from at least 12000 years ago. The Orontius Phineas, Piri Reis, and Mercator map all show parts of the Earth that were only present during pre-deluvian times, as well as inexplicably accurate drawings of the topography of Antarctica. These drawings of what Antarctica looked like beneath the ice, could only have been achieved if ancient man had technology at least equal to what we have today.

Missing Knowledge

Destination: Earth

An amazing piece of 1950s oil industry propaganda called Destination Earth tells the story of Colonel Cosmic, a spy from Mars sent to Earth. Martian society, y’see, was one of lockstep conformity and oppression under the hyper-statist rule of authoritarian great leader Ogg, and couldn’t be more obviously an analogue for the Soviet Union. Ogg has sent Colonel Cosmic to Earth to learn how we solved the problem of friction in moving parts, but instead, he learns all about the utopian joys of free markets and the miracle of GASOLINE, THE MOST EFFICIENT MOBILE POWER SOURCE ON EARTH! Naturally, revolution ensues. The squeamish needn’t worry, it’s bloodless.

Piri Reiss map

In 1929, a map was found on a dusty shelf in a library in Constantinople. This Pire Reis Map shows features of the earth that "nobody in 1513 should have been able to know"

Tiwanaku - Forbidden History

Arthur Posnansky spent much of his life in Bolivia, where he conducted 50 years research on Tiwanaku. Arthur Posnansky based upon surveying of sight lines within the Kalasasaya before its reconstruction, i.e. based upon the angles created by the standing stones, thought that the Kalasasaya dated to around 15,000BC. Modern radio carbon dating suggests that the Kalasasaya might date to around 800 to 400BC while the Akapana and Puma Punku may date to around 500 to 600AD. If Tiwanaku is indeed built around 15,000BC then it's the oldest known city in the world. Shall we call America then the Old World?
